Rodger Siems

Bio

Born 1929 in Orange County, Calif. to a farming family.

Graduated Cal Poly SLO in 1951 with a degree in Ag Engineering.

 Air Force 1951 – 1955, serving in Korea.

 1955 bought acreage in Hemet, growing alfalfa hay, oat hay, hominy corn, several varieties of hard shelled squash, and oriental vegetables.

 Organized and served as a volunteer fireman at Hemet-Ryan Field airport for many years.

 1975 – 1985 (10 years) served on the Hemet Unified School District Board.

 1985 – 2006 (21 years) served on the Eastern Municipal Water District Board of Directors.

 1964 – 1999 (35 years) served on the Riverside County Farm Bureau Board of Directors

 Past Master, Hemet Masonic Lodge and served as state officer in 1993.

 Married to Patricia for 49 years and has two daughters, both graduates of Cal Poly, and has three grandchildren.
