Reward Program
Farm Bureau members' property is automatically protected against theft,
arson or vandalism by a $750 reward program. The $750 Reward is offered for information
leading to arrest and conviction for felony arson, theft or vandalism on a Farm Bureau
member's property. A $250 Reward is offered in the case of misdemeanors.
$750 Reward Signs
$750 Reward Signs are available through Farm Bureau at our cost. These
are 8-by-12-inch, red-on-white plastic signs, available in either English
or Spanish.
Crime Prevention -
Action Crime Prevention
Farm Bureau also offers owner-applied, property identification numbers
using the National Crime Information Center system, and information
on how to use the number and its application tools.
Farm Bureau is actively involved in the statewide Rural Crime
Prevention Task Force.
Preferred Alliance
provides help in complying with complex and time-consuming D.O.T. mandated
testing regulations.

Blood program needs support
Farm Bureau has a group blood donor program through the Blood
Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Members are encouraged to donate
blood at the Blood Bank for the Farm Bureau group, coded GRCF in the Blood Bank computer
system.
Under the Blood Bank program, Farm Bureau member families can
obtain blood in times of emergencies. In return, Farm Bureau members contribute
blood under the Farm Bureau name and must replenish blood used by member families.

The Farm Bureau blood donor program needs more support, reported
Health & Safety Chairman Steve Pastor, and San Bernardino County Farm Bureau
has been asked to help Riverside keep it going.
He said he made the request at the January 12, 1999, San Bernardino
board meeting, his first meeting with San Bernardino since he was elected California Farm Bureau
Federation district director.
Farm Bureau members have AD&D insurance
One of the benefits of Farm Bureau membership is automatic coverage
under the Farm Bureau Members Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Program, underwritten by Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company.
Benefits are provided as follows:
0 to 3 Years Continuous Membership - $1,000
4 to 10 Years Continuous Membership - $2,000
10+ Years Continuous Membership - $4,000
A member or spouse is entitled to a benefit payment from this program,
if, as a result of a bodily injury resulting from an accident, he or she suffers
the loss of life, sight or limb as a direct result of the accident.
The full amount of the benefit shown above is payable for loss of:
life, two hands, two feet, sight of both eyes, or one hand and one foot. Fifty
percent of the benefit is payable for loss of one hand, one foot or sight of one eye.
Twenty-five percent of the benefit is payable for loss of one index finger or one
thumb.
Coverage is not available for memberships in the name of a partnership
or corporation. Benefits reduced if age 75 or older.
This is a summary of the AD&D benefits; however, the California
Farm Bureau Federation policy will supersede any of the above information should a
discrepancy arise.
To file a claim, the member or beneficiary should request a claim
